CONSPICUITY DEVICE
Conspicuity: The ability of an object to be noticed and recognized without confusion or ambiguity.
PASSIVE DEVICE
Devices which require no electrical power or internal illumination, but which instead rely on retro-reflection from external light sources.
RETRO-REFLECTIVE DEVICE
The property of a device to return illumination directly or generally back to the source of that illumination, as contrasted with reflection, in which the angle of incidence equals the angle of reflection (like a mirror or shiny surface).

SAFETY DEVICE
